We did 3 laps of a square and a sausage course, because there wasn't quite enough for a slalom although it did look promising when I arrived just B4 6pm. Dave & Mike Skye-Dad and myself got off OK. Mike & dave had a battle-royale so I went downwind to try & steal a lead. It didn't work I was in 4th. I got ahead of Dave on the next upwind leg. Then got pretty close to Mike on the last upwind, I though I might catch him. But, Mike had swapped his TBird for a Lightening with Phil to try and beat Dave, so I had a disadvantage there.... So it was the usual 123. My upwind was better than of late, and I'm a bit more competitive. Still it's one to go.

There's talk of changing the format next year.... bigger sails perhaps . .... even a no-pumping rule. I'd just keep things as they are myself, but introduced a handicapping system to make it more interesting
